IT Professionals, we are announcing two paths to earning your MCSA: Windows 10 certification: For those individuals who have already earned MCSA: Windows 8, they can upgrade to MCSA: Windows 10 by taking and passing Exam 697: Configuring Windows Devices For those individuals who do not have MCSA: Windows 8, they can earn MCSA: Windows 10 by passing two exams: • Exam 698: Installing and Configuring Windows 10 (available in beta in June 2016) • Exam 697: Configuring Windows Devices As a reminder, the exams associated with MCSA: Windows 8 (687, 688, 689, 692) are scheduled to retire on December 31, 2016.

Developers, we are announcing two paths to earning your MCSD: Universal Windows Platform: The current path involves taking three exams, with combined focus on enterprise development practices, as well as UWP and cloud services technologies: • Exam 483: Programming in C# • Exam 354: Universal Windows Platform - App Architecture and UX/UI • Exam 355: Universal Windows Platform - App Data, Services, and Coding Patterns This path will remain in market until March 31, 2017, when Exams 354 and 355 are scheduled to retire. The new path involves taking three exams, with primary focus on UWP and cloud services technologies: • Exam 483: Programming in C# • Exam 357: Developing Mobile Apps (available in beta in July 2016) • Exam 358: Developing Cloud Services (planned for beta in September 2016)
